Aftercare
Make your set last — and keep your natural nails healthy.
Before your appointment
- Arrive with clean, product-free nails unless you’ve booked a removal.
- Send your reference photos ahead on the Design your set page so we can plan the art.
- Bring any extra inspo on your phone and tell me about allergies or sensitivities.
- Arrive on time — there is a 10-minute grace period, then a $10 late fee, and the appointment is cancelled after 15 minutes.
What to bring
- Your reference photos or screenshots (even if you already uploaded them)
- A phone charger and headphones if your set is a long one
- Your deposit confirmation email (or the manage link) in case we need to change a time
- Clean, product-free nails unless you booked a removal — arrive with nothing on top
- Tell me about allergies, sensitivities or anything on your skin before we start
- A payment method for the rest of your total — your deposit is applied to it
- A friend or snack is fine, but this is one-on-one, so please check with me before bringing guests
Caring for your set
- Avoid hot water and heavy lotion for the first 1–2 hours after your appointment.
- Use cuticle oil daily — it keeps gel flexible and your nails healthy.
- Wear gloves for cleaning and dishes.
- Don't use your nails as tools (cans, stickers, keys).
- If a nail lifts or breaks, message me — don't pick or peel it, which damages the natural nail.
- Book your fill or removal every 3–4 weeks.
Removal
- Please don’t peel or pull your set off — it takes layers of your natural nail with it.
- Book a removal with me (or a trusted tech) for a gentle soak-off and nail care.
- Skip a few days between sets if your nails feel thin or sensitive; cuticle oil helps.
Something not right? Message me — I'd rather fix it than have you pick at it.
